Montclair Farmers' Market Opens for 27th Season

The Montclair Farmers’ Market kicked off its twenty-seventh season and is now open every Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Walnut Street Train Station parking lot. The weekly market runs all summer and through the fall until Thanksgiving.

Our five family farmers are with us again this season, offering their just-picked, fresh Garden State produce. Plus, the market boasts 21 specialty food artisans, and the taco food truck.

Additionally, this is the fifth season during which SNAP, WIC, and Seniors Farmers Market Nutrition Program participants receive double the value of their coupons, thanks to a generous grant from Partners for Health.

The Montclair Farmers’ Market is proud to have spearheaded the locally-sourced, farm-to-table food movement over a quarter-century ago; it remains the popular meeting place for hundreds of local residents, visitors, families and friends who enjoy not only our healthy, tasty foods, but also a tangible sense of community thanks to the presence of our regional growers, chef-prepared food tastings, non-profit display tables, and musical entertainment.
