The Montclair Health Department is holding a number of screenings and health programs this summer. Programs are open to Montclair, Verona and Cedar Grove residents. For more information, contact the Department at 973-509-4970.


Bone Density 
An ultrasound of the forearm can determine bone loss and risk for Osteoporosis. Registration is required. 
Fee: $12/person.

Cholesterol & Glucose Screenings 
Learn your total cholesterol, HDL, glucose and ratio with a simple, non-fasting finger stick test. Registration is required. Fee: $15 per person.

Weekly Walks 

Join us for a walk at Brookdale Park.

Wednesday nights 6:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Brookdale Park Bellevue Ave Entrance Bellevue Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ 

How to find us: 
Enter from Bellevue Avenue and park in the first parking lot on the left. We will be gathering near the playground area. We will be walking the outer path. There are several break-off points if you do not want to walk the entire path. The Walk is about an hour or 3 miles. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early. The walk will start promptly at 6:00 P.M.
