AAngelsNJ to Honor Councilwoman Baskerville

Breast cancer awareness and advocacy support group AAngelsNJ will honor Councilwoman Dr. Renee Baskerville during the organization’s "PinkTastic – A Love Affair with Life" gala event to be held Friday, June 21, 7:00 p.m. at the Wilshire Grand in West Orange. Dr. Baskerville is being honored for her support and outstanding work in the community.

Montclair resident and breast cancer survivor Angelina Killane-Sims founded AAngelsNJ, a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide breast cancer resources to underserved and underinsured individuals and families. AAngelsNJ offers access to education and assistance with navigating through issues surrounding preventive care, pre- and post-breast cancer diagnoses and all aspects of breast health.

“I am delighted to support the great works of AAngelsNJ,” said Councilwoman Baskerville. “Their work is an extension of my life's calling – to provide access to excellent education, preventive care and health care for all families. I urge and encourage members of the community to join me at this wonderful gala event.”

Information on how to purchase tickets or to contribute to the Aangels may be found on the Aangels.com website. Or, you may reach out to Councilwoman Baskerville directly.
