The Montclair July 4th celebrations are back, bigger and better than ever. The region’s largest Independence Day parade returns after a two-year hiatus brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mountainside pool is now open daily. Essex and Nishuane pools remain closed due to construction in the parks.

Township Council unanimously passed its new rent control ordinance on Tuesday, April 19. The ordinance is in effect as of May 9.

UPDATE: Hydrant flushing to continue through July. The Montclair Water Bureau is conducting its 2022 spring hydrant inspection and flushing program.

The Montclair Health Department, in conjunction with MediStation, is providing free COVID-19 testing for Montclair residents, beginning Monday, March 28.
