Garbage, Recycling, Bulky Waste
Refuse, Recycling and Bulk Waste
NOTICE: Styrofoam recycling has been temporarily suspended until further notice. The recycling plant we have been using has closed its doors after 80 years of business. All Styrofoam items can go out with regular household garbage.
NOTICE: Mattresses and box springs must be placed in a plastic bag to prevent the spread of bed bugs. Items not properly sealed in plastic will not be collected. The Township does not provide mattress or box spring bags or covers. Plastic zippered mattress covers are available at many local retail stores for a nominal fee.
We are now using the Recycle Coach App.
The Township of Montclair have partnered with Recycle Coach to provide residents with a free, interactive app that is a resource for in-depth information on how to dispose of any item, as well as view pick-up schedules and set reminders for pick-up days.
