Please be advised of an upcoming winter storm expected to start tomorrow, 01/19/2025, and persist until Monday, 01/20/2025. The forecast predicts an accumulation of 5 to 7 inches of snow. The Montclair Township Office of Emergency Management ("OEM") team will closely monitor the situation, and if street clearance becomes necessary, a prompt alert will be issued.

Residents are reminded that to assist with snow removal efforts, the Department of Community Services ("DCS") asked the residents please refrain from placing your trash and recycling cans out until after the storm has cleared.

Residents are also reminded that parking on snow-covered streets is prohibited by the Township ordinance 327-25. The no-parking prohibition remains in effect for a period of 12 hours after the snowfall has stopped in order to facilitate snow removal operations.

Montclair Police Department will be ticketing and towing vehicles parked on the streets during this period.

Residents may park their vehicles "free-of-charge" in municipal lots and the Midtown Deck (at 292 Glenridge Ave.) from Sunday 01/19/2025 at 1pm until the snow has cleared.

Please note: Bay Street, Fullerton Roof and Crescent Decks are NOT available for free-of-charge parking.

911 is for Emergency Use ONLY! We ask residents to report any winter snowstorm-related issues to our Montclair Police Department non-emergency number, 973-744-1234.
