Public Hearing Notice: 2025 NJDEP Green Acres Program | Grant Application 

Purpose: The Township of Montclair is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Mountainside Park located at 205 Upper Mountain Avenue in Montclair, Essex County, NJ 07043.

Project Scope: The Township of Montclair proposes to renovate the tennis courts, basketball court, pathways, benches, and restrooms located at Mountainside Park. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project will be made available on this page of the township website.

Public Hearing Information: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held in person, as part of the regularly scheduled Council meeting at the Municipal Building, 205 Claremont Avenue, Montclair, New Jersey.
