The Montclair Community Band was formed in 1982 to provide an opportunity for amateur musicians to rehearse and perform challenging band music. Membership in the Band is open to any adult who plays a band instrument and to accomplished high school musicians.

The Community Band performs five concerts each year, including the popular outdoor summer concerts at the Montclair High School. All Community Band concerts are free of charge and programs are geared for the whole family.
