3rd Quarter of 2024 Tax Bill grace period has been extended to September 6th. Any payment received after will have interest calculated back to August 1st.
Health Education is a required component of a Local Health Department. It consists of education, screenings and programs designed to promote, maintain and improve individual and community health. A Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) identifies health education needs of the community, and coordinates, designs and implements health programs to meet those needs. The Health Educator can serve as a resource to a variety of community-based organizations.
Many preventative health screenings and programs (free or low cost) are scheduled throughout the year in collaboration with local hospitals and organizations.
