ROAD CLOSURE: The west bound lane of Bradford Ave going into Cedar Grove will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday ,June 27.CAUSE: The Water Bureau will be repairing a water main.
The Montclair Water Bureau is conducting its 2024 Spring Hydrant Inspection and Flushing Program. The Low, High and Middle Service Areas will have their areas’ hydrants flushed during daytime hours starting Monday, April 1, 2024 between 9.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m.
The Montclair Health Department hosts free rabies clinics each year in February, May and September. Once scheduled, clinic dates will be posted on our calendar.
The rabies vaccine the Health Department administers is good for one year for puppies and kittens. Subsequent rabies vaccinations are good for three years.
Your dog/cat must have a current vaccination to renew a dog/cat license.
Pet owners are responsible for keeping their pets current on vaccinations annually, should the Township's free rabies clinic(s) be delayed or cancelled, pet owners are required to maintain their pets' vaccinations as per NJ state law and Montclair local ordinances.
