Meeting Dates

The Civil Rights Commission (CRC) meets at 205 Claremont Avenue on the 3rd Thursday of every month. These meetings will have an allocated slot open to the public for public comment on issues pertaining to civil rights in Montclair. This section will typically begin at 7 p.m.

All participants in the public comment section should be residents of Montclair, N.J.

1. Please email us on civilrightscommission@montclairnjusa.org if you wish to participate. Please share the topic(s).

2. Please email us a minimum of 48 hours before the scheduled meeting. If we are unable to accommodate due to time / scheduling constraints, we will prioritize that topic / speaker at the subsequent CRC meeting.

3. All public comment portions are expected to occur in a respectful and cooperative manner. There will be no tolerance for intimidating or threatening behavior towards CRC commissioners or other citizens.
