In order to ensure the safety of all of our kids and allow for unimpeded flow of traffic on what is a major commuting street, please read the following carefully and adhere to these guidelines when dropping off and picking up your children in Mountainside Park. In addition to safety issues, permits to practice on this field could be revoked if drivers don't comply with posted signs and/or block traffic on Upper Mountain Avenue.
1. Use the circle in front of the pool for QUICK pick-up and drop-off ONLY. This is a posted NO PARKING zone and you will be ticketed if you park your car here. If you are parked in the circle, no one else can use it for dropping off or turning around and the flow of traffic is halted. If you need to tie your child's cleats, have a conversation with another parent, or wait for a few minutes, this is NOT the place to do it. Please park across the street and walk your child over to the field if you need to stop your car for more than a few moments before drop-off or pickup. |

Montclair Recreation is proud to announce that four of its youth Pop Warner football players - Sam Doros, Jacob Mahaney, Keyon Washington and Gavin Cohn - made the All American National Pop Warner Little Scholars second team for maintaining a 96 percent or better GPA in the classroom while participating in a physical activity. The players competed against a record breaking number of Pop Warner Cheer/Football applicants nation-wide: over 10,000 applied.
Pop Warner will hold its Annual National Little scholars Awards ceremonies Friday and Saturday, May 28-29, at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in downtown Philadelphia, where the Montclair players will be honored for their great achievement.

Pool rules and regulations will be strictly enforced. Please be courteous to other swimmers.
- Proper swimming attire is required. No cutoffs, t-shirts or gym shorts.
- An adult must accompany children who are non-swimmers at all times.
- No street shoes are permitted on the deck.
